Iams Friends for Life Adoption Stories
No Image Meeting My Match

I arrived too late on a Saturday to make an adoption at the Franklin County Animal Shelter in Columbus, Ohio. They were about to close, but a staff member suggested I put the wheels in motion and fill out the necessary paperwork to make a future adoption. Among the paperwork, the staff noted that most important was the personality profile questionnaire. This was a series of questions that would determine which dogs me and my lifestyle would be most compatible with. Once all was said and done and my test was "scored", I had a lavender distinction and should look to adopt pooches with a lavender distinction. I knew I was looking for a smaller breed, energetic and friendly, but now he had to be a lavender too. I was anxious and unsure if the perfect companion was out there for me.
